Privacy policy

Effective November 4, 2026

ToDoIt (“the app”) is developed by Andrew Naylor. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

The short version: everything you create in ToDoIt stays on your device. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information.

Information stored on your device

The cards, notes, next steps, questions, work log entries, deadlines, and photos you add are saved only in the app’s storage on your iPhone. The developer has no access to this information.

Calendar

If you allow it, ToDoIt reads your device’s calendar to show today’s and tomorrow’s events in the app. Access is read-only: the app never changes, adds, or deletes events, and calendar information is never sent off your device. You can turn off calendar access at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars.

Photos

When you add photos to a card, you choose them with the system photo picker. ToDoIt saves a resized copy of each selected photo within the app. Location and other embedded photo information is removed when the copy is saved. The app cannot see any photos you don’t select.

No accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking

ToDoIt has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking tools. The app does not connect to the internet to send your data anywhere.

Backups

Like most apps, ToDoIt’s data may be included in your device backups (for example, iCloud Backup) if you have backups turned on. These backups are managed by Apple and controlled by you in your device settings.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual items within the app. Deleting the app from your device removes all of its data from that device.

Children

ToDoIt is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
